Xtraspace Lofts is an independent loft boarding and storage business based in Rainham, Kent (ME8), run by Collin — a resident right here in Medway. We turn unused lofts into safe, practical storage across Rainham, Gillingham, Chatham, Rochester, Sittingbourne, Maidstone and Gravesend — usually in a single day.

These days most of our work is in new build homes. The estates going up across Medway hand over with trussed rafter roofs and around 300mm of insulation — a combination that rules out boarding straight onto the timbers. We fit a raised floor that spans the trusses above the insulation and never cut, notch or drill any part of the roof structure, so the loft becomes proper storage without putting a new build warranty at risk.
Loft boarding starts from around £350 for a part-boarded storage area, with a fully boarded raised loft floor typically £600–£1,200. Every quote is fixed after a free survey — the number we give you is the number you pay.
