The job
A new build in Rainham with a trussed rafter roof and deep insulation, boarded as a compact storage area rather than wall to wall.
We fitted 10m² of raised flooring through the centre of the trusses. The floor sits above the insulation rather than on it, so the insulation keeps its full depth, and no truss was cut, notched or drilled.
A strip light and a switch by the hatch finish the job.
