An 18m² boarded loft in Horsmonden with storage shelves fitted into the trusses on both sides.
The job
Before we started, this Horsmonden loft was deep insulation and nothing else. It has a steep trussed roof with plenty of height but very little floor.
We boarded 18m² through the trusses and added shelves at two levels on either side, so boxes can be stored off the floor and the centre stays clear to walk through. The loft is lit and the boarding runs right up to the hatch.
